Protests in Haifa and Umm al-Fahm, condemning Israeli aggression on Gaza

Dozens of activists participated in two protest demonstrations organized this evening, Thursday, in the cities of Haifa and Umm al-Fahm, in support of Gaza and in condemnation of the occupation’s aggression against the besieged Strip, which has so far resulted in the death of 30 citizens and the injury of 94.

In Al-Asir Square in Haifa, dozens demonstrated in protest against the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which has continued since the dawn of last Tuesday, and the demonstrators raised Palestinian flags and banners condemning the attacks of the occupation.

Members of the Israeli police assaulted the demonstrators in Haifa, trying to suppress the demonstration and lower the Palestinian flag, while the activists continued their protest, chanting slogans rejecting the crimes of the occupation.

In Umm al-Fahm, a protest stand was organized at the entrance to the city, at the invitation of the People’s Committee, and the participants demanded an end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and to stop the ongoing crimes and political assassinations against the people in the Strip.

The participants held the Israeli government responsible for the escalation in Gaza.

The demonstrators raised Palestinian flags and banners calling for an end to the aggression, some of which wrote: “Hands off the Gaza Strip,” and “All shame and disgrace to the killers of children,” and “Their terror will not deter us.”
