Israeli occupation continues to demolish lands in Deir al-Hatab village

Israeli occupation forces removed today, Saturday, large areas of the lands of Deir al-Hatab, east of Nablus.

The official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, Ghassan Douglas, said that the occupation bulldozers are carrying out bulldozing work in the lands east of Deir al-Hatab in favor of the expansion of the “Alon Moreh” settlement, which was built by force on the village lands.

And he indicated that the area in which the dredging works are being carried out is called Ras al-Ain and is located in Basin No. 9, and is located above the spring that was seized years ago and caravans were installed in it.

Douglas stated that the continued confiscation of lands will increase the loss of more than 8,000 dunams by the people of Deir al-Hatab in favor of the settlements in the recent period.
