Palestinian driver injured in stoning attack by Israeli settlers near Ramallah

A Palestinian young man sustained injuries tonight as hardcore Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian vehicles with stones at Ein Eyyub junction, to the west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

A group of Israeli settlers rampaged through Ein Ayyub junction, located near the village of Ras Karkar, and hurled stones at Palestinian vehicles driving through the junction, injuring Bahaa Absi, a 29-year-old Palestinian, in his head and face and causing damage to his vehicle. Absi was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Earlier yesterday, several houses and vehicles were set on fire in a pogrom carried out by state-backed Israeli settler militias in the village of Umm Safa, to the north of Ramallah.
