Dozens of Israeli settlers attack the town of Qusra

Dozens of Israeli settler terrorists launched an attack this evening on the town of Qusra, to the south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, according to local sources.

The sources said scores of settlers from the nearby Yish Kodesh settlement outpost attacked the southeastern outskirts of the town under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. The town’s residents confronted the settlers, resulting in confrontations at the scene.

The town of Qusra has been a site of repeated confrontations due to the presence of colonial Israeli settlements in close proximity. These incidents underscore the ongoing hardships faced by local Palestinian residents as a result of the colonial Israeli settlement regime.

Palestinian communities often report cases of harassment, assaults, and property damage attributed to Israeli settler groups, with protection and political cover for assailants from the far-right Israeli government and complicit Israeli forces.

International organizations and human rights groups have often criticized Israeli settler violence in the West Bank, stating that it contributes to instability in the region.
