Two Palestinian shepherds injured in an attack by settlers

Two Palestinian shepherds sustained injuries this afternoon in an attack by a group of Israeli settlers in the village of al-Mughayir, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, according to witnesses.

They said a group of settlers descended upon Palestinian shepherds who were tending to their livestock and brutally beat them with sticks. The assault resulted in injuries to two shepherds, both of whom sustained bruises.

Attacks by Israeli settlers against defenseless Palestinians have become all too common, with Palestinian shepherds and farmers often facing harassment and violence from settlers.

The incident serves as a reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by Palestinian communities living under the colonial Israeli settler regime in the occupied West Bank.
