A Syrian soldier was seriously wounded, at dawn today, Wednesday, as a result of the Israeli aggression on the countryside of Damascus.
The Syrian News Agency “SANA” quoted a military source as saying, “About 01:05 in the morning today, the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points southwest of Damascus. A soldier was seriously injured and material losses occurred.”
Earlier, the Syrian News Agency, “SANA”, reported that explosions were heard in the vicinity of Damascus, while their nature is being verified.
SANA indicated that “the Syrian air defense forces are confronting hostile targets in the skies around Damascus.”
And Syrian television reported that “our air defenses are confronting an Israeli aggression in the skies of Damascus countryside.”
According to “Sham FM Radio”, the initial information indicates that the vicinity of the village of Al-Muqaylibiyah in Al-Kiswah, west of Damascus, was targeted, and fire engines went to the place to put out the fire caused by the targeting, without information on human casualties so far.
