Five Palestinians injured in an attack by settlers in Silwan

Five Palestinian civilians sustained injuries tonight in an attack by fanatic Israeli settlers in the occupied Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan, according to medical sources.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said five Palestinians received medical treatment after being beaten up and teargassed by police-guarded Israeli settlers in yet a new attack by Israeli settlers in the neighborhood.

There has been a serious rise in violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinians across the occupied West Bank.

Yesterday, scores of vehicles were set ablaze and dozens of homes attacked by army-guarded Israeli settlers in the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah. A Palestinian young man was also killed by Israeli occupation soldiers while confronting the settlers’ attack on the town.
