At least five young Palestinians detained by Israeli occupation forces in raids at their West Bank homes

The Israeli occupation forces today detained at least five young Palestinians during raids at their family homes in the occupied West Bank.

Palestinian security sources said that the soldiers detained three teenagers during raids at and searching their family homes in the village of Ibayyat, east of the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.

The sources also said soldiers broke into homes in the northern West Bank town of Yabad, southwest of Jenin, searched them and detained two young Palestinians. Confrontations broke out during the raid between residents and the soldiers. No injuries were reported.

Soldiers raided several towns and villages in the Jenin district, said sources.  There were no reports of arrests.
