Settlers attack Palestinian homes near Bethlehem

Extremist Israeli settlers launched an attack this evening on the homes of Palestinian residents in the Khalayel Al-Loz neighborhood, in the occupied West Bank province of Bethlehem, according to Palestinian security sources.

The sources a group of settlers initiated the assault, which involved live gunfire and the hurling of stones at the homes of local Palestinians in the neighborhood, located to southeast of Bethlehem city. No injuries were reported.

Settler attacks like this have become more frequent in recent times, raising concerns about the safety and security of Palestinian civilians living in areas close to colonial Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.
